Celebrate our 49th Anniversary with Us!

It’s crazy to think our family-owned dealership will be 50 years old in 2019! A lot has changed since my dad, Ron, bought the original store in downtown Brookings.

The business has grown and our customers have become family to us. It makes me think back to all the relationships over the years and how we’ve been blessed with amazing people as part of our Einspahr Team.  I’ve grown up with all of you!

Brookings is Home

Being raised in Brookings has given the Einspahr family reason to appreciate small town living. We’ve seen growth and prosperity. We make it a mission to offer our neighbors and friends a comfortable place to buy and service their vehicle, all while actively giving back to our community.  Over five decades, we have built relationships with several generations of a lot of families and that is really special to us!

We hold this town close to our hearts and get a little skip in our step every time a vehicle heads off the lot with happy customers. (I might secretly smile extra when it includes a Jackrabbit license plate cover.)  So each year in December, we celebrate our anniversary in a large fashion.

A Tale of Stuffing

Have you ever wondered why, during our anniversary month, we hand out large stuffed animals with the purchase of a vehicle*?

Well, wait no longer! 

n

In the late nineties, my dad was flying home. Being a great salesman, he could strike up a conversation with anyone. And that he did, with a gentleman who owned a toy company that sells giant stuffed animals. Dad got it in his mind to work with him for a special promotion. That first year it created a lot of buzz around town.  People would drive by the dealership and look at stuffed animals while they were out looking at Christmas lights.

Since then, it’s been an easy decision to celebrate our anniversary as a way of saying thanks to our customers–giant stuffed animals.

Kids eyes light up when they first step into our dealership. We purchase about 100 animals every year and stuff (pun intended  ??) all of them into the showroom.

Shopping for Your Next Vehicle

The holiday season is always a great time to be shopping for a new or pre-owned vehicle.  Ford and Chrysler offer great year-end incentives to finish their year with a bang.  Now is a wonderful time to get a great deal!

While we don’t have wrapping paper large enough for the whole vehicle, we’re happy to tie the new keys around your pick of a stuffed animal in the showroom. It’s our way of thank you from all of us at Einspahr Auto Plaza.

We want to wish everyone a joyous holiday season and safe travels as they head out to spend time with family.  We are certainly grateful for those that have chosen to do business with us over the years.
